Biscoe Fire Department proudly protects approximately 4,200 people living in an area of 30 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We run automatic mutual aid on Structure Fires with Candor (Station 5), Star (Station 4), Troy (Station1), Eagle Springs (Moore County). We have an ISO rating of 5/9S.
Biscoe Fire Department is staffed by volunteer firefighters. There are positions for twenty-four full-time volunteers and four daytime-only firefighters that are on call during business hours when others may be out of the district. Full-time firefighters must reside within the Eagle Fire District, which is served by the Biscoe Fire Department.
